Fertility issues (or subfertility) affect one in six couples worldwide. Of these couples:
- 30% present with female factor subfertility
- 30% present with male factor subfertility
- 20% of couples experience both female and male subfertility; and
- 20% of couples experience an unknown cause for their subfertility.
Social infertility is also a concern for members of the LBGTQI+ community or those wishing to become single parents, both of whom will need access to donor eggs or donor sperm to help complete their families. Steven is well-equipped to guide couples or singles in any of these situations towards their best fertility treatment.
