More about Dr. Steven Adair

Dr Steven Adair brings decades of experience to every piece of advice that he gives. Anyone who visits his practice can feel the calm confidence of someone who knows what to do and how to help them.

Steven graduated from his medical studies at the Queen’s University, Belfast in 1993. He undertook specialty training in obstetrics and gynaecology in Northern Ireland, England and finished in Canberra in 2003. Then in 2004, Steven was appointed as a specialist obstetrician and gynaecologist at the Canberra Hospital.

Steven later returned to England and worked for seven years in Sunderland Royal Hospital, but came back to Canberra in 2011 as the Clinical Director of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of the then-new Centenary Hospital for Women and Children.

Steven’s current work is in fertility and gynaecology, where he offers both conservative and surgical management of most gynaecological conditions.

His special interest is in fertility care, as he provides support for everyone through a choice of donor programmes. Steven is also an ally for those from the LGBTQIA+ community who are seeking fertility options, including fertility preservation.
